Entrepreneur and Artist Paula Parker brings “Art of Austin” to the world.

Paula Parker is a native Texan, born and raised in suburban Houston. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing, Paula embarked on a career in retail store management with Foley’s Department Store and later, with Coach Leatherware where she gained practical experience in business management, design, advertising and publishing.

In 1992, Paula started her first design business, focusing on decorative arts. In 2004, she relocated to Austin, Texas where she presently resides, and launched Paula Parker Designs while creating the decorative art collections, “Prologue” and “Plaster Mache Sculpture.”
The business has recently expanded into promoting regional artists through publication of Art In Austin . . . the registry.

Paula Parker Designs will be spotlighting Matchi canvas art at upcoming expo to interior design trade at METROCON 08 in Dallas, August 14-15 2008.
